DonutSMP Rig Update
Updating the Donut SMP rig — version checks, hash verification and profile migration between builds.
Updates replace the jar, not the config. Profiles survive a version bump.
donutsmp rig update: install shape, supported versions, and the handful of details that decide whether the jar loads at all.
The rig is a Fabric client mod. Drop the jar into .minecraft/mods, launch the Fabric profile, join the server. Loader 0.15+ covers 1.20.x, 0.16+ covers 1.21.x. Forge is a different mixin surface and is not supported.
Keep the old jar until the new one launches cleanly once.
The jar is 240 KB with no network calls. Config lives in .minecraft/config and never leaves the machine. Releases are verified by SHA-256 on the download page, not by a licence server, which is the main reason the build stays this small.
