rigmod download: install shape, supported versions, and the handful of details that decide whether the jar loads at all.
The rig is a Fabric client mod. Drop the jar into .minecraft/mods, launch the Fabric profile, join the server. Loader 0.15+ covers 1.20.x, 0.16+ covers 1.21.x. Forge is a different mixin surface and is not supported.
Matching the hash before launch is the only step people skip and the only one that matters.
The jar is 240 KB with no network calls. Config lives in .minecraft/config and never leaves the machine. Releases are verified by SHA-256 on the download page, not by a licence server, which is the main reason the build stays this small.
